Master barber
Chris has owned and run Maxwells since 1983 and during that time he loved meeting new and old clients. However in 2021 he decided to hang up his clippers and finally retire. Now he is a man of leisure and still enjoys DIY, gardening and spending time with his family particularly his grandchildren. — Chris would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that has been coming in over the years. He will miss chatting with everyone!
Carrie
Senior barber
Carrie has nearly 13 years Experience at Maxwells and has established herself as Chris' right hand. Recently she has become a joint share holder in the business and looks forward to being more pro active in the development of the business. In her spare time she loves walking her dogs and riding her motorbike. Whether you’re looking for some insight on the latest barbering trends or simply want to freshen up your look, spend half an hour with Carrie and learn about what products and services would suit you best. Barber
Mel joined the team in October 2016 and has quickly established herself as an enthusiastic stylist. She Trained locally and enjoys creating the latest looks as well as offering simple crops and trims.
Having recently given birth to her daughter. Mel has looked forward to coming back and being a part of the team once again. Mel is excited to welcome new and existing clients to the salon. She enjoys spending time with her family and having her Disney tattoo sleeve worked on.

Barber
Chloe joined us in July 2017, Training at Maxwells and the hairdressing college in Gt.Yarmouth she has passed her final assessment in barbering achieving the highest grade available (Distinction) She is now a very competent stylist and is very popular with all her clients particularly the younger guys. Chloe attended Benjamin Britten Academy. As the youngest member of our team she enjoys the cinema, walking her dog and eating out. But mainly spending time with her family and friends.
